Paulinia Robots Pulls Off Comeback over Rio Claro Farmers, Takes Over 1st Place

Paulinia Robots was clutch under the lights with 63.98 points on Monday Night Football (49% of their total score) to pull off the comeback against Rio Claro Farmers 130.18 to 115.66. The late heroics were a bit unexpected, since they were originally projected to score 42.31 points on Monday night. Paulinia Robots was led by Travis Kelce this week (25 Rec Yds, 4 TD). Kelce scored four touchdowns and provided 33.50 points to the final tally. Patrick Mahomes also helped the cause with 30.48 points with four passing touchdowns (292 Pas Yds, 28 Rsh Yds, 4 TD). Paulinia Robots (4-1, 649.12 points) climbs into first place, while Rio Claro Farmers (4-1, 592.06 points) drops to third place.

Devin Singletary probably deserved more touches for Rio Claro Farmers, as he put up a whopping 46 total yards on just seven touches.

In Week 6, Paulinia Robots plays London Knights (2-3, 433.18), while Rio Claro Farmers gets Limeira Jetsons (4-1, 592.32).

Led by a Big Game from Josh Jacobs, Goncalves Miners Rallies Against Sorocaba Wild Mules

The production of Josh Jacobs led the way, as Goncalves Miners rallied late to beat Sorocaba Wild Mules 136.00 to 114.26. The Las Vegas RB heated up for 30.32 points in a 21.74-point win for Goncalves Miners. He rushed for 154 yards as part of his showcase performance (154 Rsh Yds, 39 Rec Yds, 1 TD). With 136.00 points, Goncalves Miners had their top total of the season. Goncalves Miners (4-1, 556.46 points) climbs into fourth place, while Sorocaba Wild Mules (0-5, 490.28 points) stays locked in the cellar.

Allgeier had plenty of opportunities for Sorocaba Wild Mules, but could only manage 45 total yards on 13 touches.

Indaiatuba Riders Pulls Off Comeback over Indaiatuba Blues, Moves to 9th Place

This week’s two highest-scoring teams met in a shootout as Indaiatuba Riders came back from being down 0.00 on Monday night and narrowly defeated Indaiatuba Blues 145.42 to 142.56. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. Indaiatuba Blues falls to 1-4 (12th place), pushing their losing streak to three. Indaiatuba Blues actually finished with more total touchdowns (9 to 6) and more total yards (950 to 819), despite coming up short on the scoreboard. Leonard Fournette (56 Rsh Yds, 83 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD) recorded the second-highest score this week (35.90) and Davante Adams scored 27.40 points to lead Indaiatuba Riders. Josh Allen (424 Pas Yds, 42 Rsh Yds, 4 TD/1 Int) put up the third-highest point total in the league this week (35.16) and Tyler Lockett scored 27.40 points for Indaiatuba Blues.

James Robinson had plenty of chances for Indaiatuba Riders, but he logged just 39 total yards on 12 touches.

Next week, Indaiatuba Riders takes on Campinas Giants (2-3, 547.24), while Indaiatuba Blues battles Sorocaba Steelers (3-2, 529.30).

Amparo Bikers Gets Victory Against Limeira Jetsons, Boots Them from Top Spot

Amparo Bikers (11th place, 2-3, 546.66 points) pushes Limeira Jetsons (4-1, 592.32 points) out of first after beating them 86.24 to 79.52. Austin Ekeler (173 Rsh Yds, 26 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD) got the highest score by a player this week with 35.90 points. Amparo Bikers took a 9.00-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. While each team failed to hit their projections, Amparo Bikers scored 82.1% of their projected 105.02 points to get the win. Limeira Jetsons got zero points from Tee Higgins, which might have made the difference in the outcome.

Darrell Henderson ultimately deserved more touches for Limeira Jetsons, as he put up a whopping 30 total yards on just four touches. There are a couple of spots where Limeira Jetsons wishes they could get a do-over, as Kenneth Walker III could have started in place of Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Geno Smith in place of Justin Herbert. Either of those point differentials would’ve been enough to change the outcome.

Sorocaba Steelers Beats London Knights

Sorocaba Steelers got past London Knights, who labored to score points this week, 89.68 to 80.58. Sorocaba Steelers took a 39.80-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. This win was revenge for a loss to London Knights in their last meeting a season ago. Both teams could have scored more points as Sorocaba Steelers had one starter turn in zero points and London Knights also had one. Sorocaba Steelers (3-2, 529.30 points) remains in sixth place and London Knights (2-3, 433.18 points) stays in eighth place.

Along with being the one defense to earn a negative score, the Miami Dolphins DEF (on London Knights) represented the lone starter in the whole league to do so. In addition, they had a starter that missed out on some chances. Despite being targeted nine times, Deebo Samuel could only manage two catches.

In Week 6, Sorocaba Steelers faces Indaiatuba Blues (1-4, 648.44), who puts up a strong 129.69 points per game. London Knights takes on first-place Paulinia Robots (4-1, 649.12).

Campinas Giants Tops Indaiatuba Pats, Grabs 10th Place

Campinas Giants got 23.40 points from Christian McCaffrey (54 Rsh Yds, 50 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 20.20 from Jeff Wilson (120 Rsh Yds, 1 TD) to beat Indaiatuba Pats 112.20 to 106.46. This win was a nice piece of revenge for Campinas Giants following a tough postseason loss last year to Indaiatuba Pats. Indaiatuba Pats was led by Gabe Davis with 32.10 points (171 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and Rhamondre Stevenson, who scored 19.50 (161 Rsh Yds). Indaiatuba Pats got zero points from Tyler Conklin, which might have made the difference in the outcome. Campinas Giants (2-3, 547.24 points) climbs into 10th place and Indaiatuba Pats (3-2, 557.72 points) drops to fifth place.

There was one player on Indaiatuba Pats that let some chances slip away. Despite being targeted seven times, A.J. Brown could manage just three catches.

Limeira Dead Rabbits Comes Back on Barao Butchers, Captures Career Series Lead 2-1

Limeira Dead Rabbits had an excellent primetime performance with 54.30 points on Sunday Night Football (43% of their total score) to seal the comeback against Barao Butchers 125.56 to 107.14. The late heroics were somewhat unexpected, since they were originally projected to tally 48.60 points on Sunday night. Limeira Dead Rabbits was led by Jalen Hurts (239 Pas Yds, 61 Rsh Yds, 2 Rsh TD). Hurts scored two touchdowns and contributed 27.66 points to the cause. The 125.56 points represented the highest overall individual total of the season for Limeira Dead Rabbits. Barao Butchers (1-4, 458.86 points) drops to 13th place, while Limeira Dead Rabbits (3-2, 561.36 points) remains in seventh place.

Next week, Limeira Dead Rabbits will meet Sorocaba Wild Mules (0-5, 490.28), the last-place team in the league. Barao Butchers takes on Indaiatuba Pats (3-2, 557.72).
